Nutritional Counseling

Proper nutrition is essential to overall good health.  The typical American diet, consisting primarily of grains and sugar and containing insufficient amounts fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats and  animal protein, can cause a deficiency of certain vitamins and minerals essential to many body functions.

Numerous health disorders can be traced to nutritional deficiencies.  For example, anemia, which is a lack of healthy red blood cells, can occur as a result of a lack of consumption of foods containing folate, vitamin B-12 or vitamin C, or if the body has trouble absorbing or processing these vitamins.

Using nutritional education as a primary tool,  I believe good health can be obtained by approaching each person as a unique individual. I am passionate about providing education and information that will improve diet, lifestyle, and attitude to promote optimum health.

I will be offering nutritional counseling via video conferencing in the near future.  Please e-mail me at if you would like to be updated when this service becomes available.
